Uses resources to help the community through food and goods distribution, education, and training opportunities so all people can lead meaningful lives.
American Red Cross :: Disaster Services :: Income
Disaster response focuses on meeting peoples’ immediate emergency needs. When a disaster threatens or strikes, the Red Cross provides shelter, food, clothing, medical, and mental health services to address basic human needs. The Red Cross also feeds emergency workers, volunteers, and helps those affected by disaster to access other available resources.
Boy Scouts of America :: Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and Exploring :: Education
Prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Boys & Girls Club of Southeast GA :: After-School Programs :: Education
Delivers accessible, progressive, fun programs and services that energize, educate, and empower boys and girls to become contributing members of their family, Club, and community.

Strives to increase the number of deprived children who have a CASA, increase teamwork with DFCS on each case, increase reunification with parents, decrease the amount of time for achieving permanent placements, and assuring that reunification, temporary or permanent, is appropriate.

Provides programs to prevent child abuse and neglect while educating families and providing them the tools to become self-sufficient.
Communities In Schools of Glynn County, Inc. :: Focus Graduation Program :: Education
Mobilizes existing community resources and fosters cooperative partnerships for the benefit of at-risk students and their families. This creates a successful atmosphere for on-time graduation.
Cooperative Healthcare Services, Inc. :: Coastal Medical Access Project (CMAP) :: Health
Provides primary medical, dental and vision care, prescription assistance, and disease management for qualified uninsured residents of McIntosh, Glynn, and Camden counties.
Ferst Foundation - Glynn :: Childhood Literacy of Glynn - Census Tract 8 :: Education
Provides one free book a month to children under five years old in Census Tract 8 to help increase literacy rates and prepare incoming kindergarten students for learning.

Through troops, camp, events, and community service, girls recognize their strengths, work cooperatively to meet goals, and develop leadership as well as practical skills to become self sufficient adults.
Glynn Community Crisis Center, Inc. :: Amity House & Hope House :: Health
Amity House provides shelter, a 24 hour crisis hotline, children's services, support group, and legal advocacy to victims of domestic violence. Hope House provides transitional housing to the victims of domestic violence.
Golden Isles Career Academy :: Career Activities, Scholarships & Service Learning Programs :: Education
The Scholarship and Career Activities Program offers opportunities for students to participate in service-learning projects, receive financial support for their skills-based competitions, and scholarships.
Golden Isles Children’s Center, Inc. :: Counseling for Glynn & McIntosh Clients :: Health
Provides a safe, confidential, child-friendly site for investigative forensic interviews with children and adults who have been sexually or severely physically abused, or who have witnessed violence, as well as providing victim support services and counseling for the children and their families.
Hospice of the Golden Isles :: Jolley House :: Health
Provides care for terminally ill patients (prognosis six months or less) who do not have a suitable home environment or caregiver.
Safe Harbor Children’s Center :: Academic Tutoring :: Education
A shelter serving abused, neglected, homeless, and runaway children providing safe and secure emergency shelter to protect children and youth at risk. Academic tutoring is provided to the Safe Harbor residents as well as the street, runaway, and homeless youth through the Street Outreach Program.
Senior Citizens Inc. :: McIntosh Senior Center :: Health
Provides lunch, socialization, activities, a healthy nutritious lunch, and support services to seniors within the county. Transportation is also provided.
Special Olympics :: Special Olympics :: Health
Provides persons with intellectual disabilities, ages 2 and up, with sports programs to improve their health and socialization at no cost to the athlete.
STAR Foundation :: Employment Training Program :: Income
Seeks to have a transformational impact on students in an environment of success and positive reinforcement, thereby cultivating self-empowerment through a training model which fosters team building, decision making, personal responsibility, and community involvement while focusing on 3 main areas: Life Skills for Professional and Personal Use; Job Readiness; and Computer Literacy.

Meeting the basic needs of individuals and families and assisting them in becoming self sufficient; provide meals to those in need; provide shelter to the homeless.
UGA Cooperative Extension :: McIntosh County 4-H :: Education
Assists youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes that enable them to become self-directing, productive, and contributing members of society.
YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Inc. - McIntosh County :: Teen Achievers :: Education
Helps teens set and pursue high educational and career goals resulting in graduation and acceptance to an institution of higher learning.
YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Inc. - McIntosh County :: Pryme Tyme After-School Care and Summer Day Camp :: Education
A school based after-school-care program which addresses the needs of parents ensuring their children are in a safe and nurturing environment during after-school hours. Any student, Pre-K to fifth grade, enrolled in the McIntosh County school system is eligible to enroll. McIntosh Pryme Tyme participants receive supervised care, gain knowledge from structured educational activities, as well as have the opportunity to participate in enrichment activities.

Provides affordable childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Scholarship assistance is offered to low-income working families.
