The 2009 Hands on Georgia week is

Day of Caring is an annual event taking place during Hands on Georgia week in October in which local area businesses, organizations, and individuals from all of Georgia ’s 159 counties come together to celebrate the spirit of volunteerism through community projects.

The United Way of Coastal Georgia's volunteer center will be running 16 projects in Glynn and McIntosh Counties on Tuesday September 29 and Wednesday September 30, 2009.

2008 Days of Caring 

On October 1 & 2, 2008, The United Way of Coastal Georgia 's Volunteer Center  brought together 275 volunteers worked at the 13 different projects throughout the two days!

Resulting in over 1350 volunteer hours helped to make an impact on our community!
