Additonal Event Details
· The doors open at 7pm, and the first band begins at 8pm.
· Your name(s) have been added to the Guest List and you will need to check-in at the entrance of the event to attend. If you purchased multiple tickets and did not provide us with the names of the extra guests than they will need to check in with you.
· The Cash Bar is a true cash bar.
You will only be able to pay with cash. The Jekyll Island Authority will not be able to accept credit cards or checks at the bars, so please plan to bring cash with you for beverages.
· Straton Hall will be providing light appetizers (not a full dinner) staged throughout the evening. There will be some great retro surprises, so please make sure that you enjoy their offerings!
· Commemorative event t-shirts will be available for $15 for short sleeve and $20 for long sleeve. Cash/check preferred, or credit card. The proceeds benefit
United Way.
· There also is a commemorative Aquarama poster from an original oil painting by local artist, Dottie Clark. The posters are available to purchase for $20.00 each. The original oil painting will be available to purchase in the silent auction. Cash/check preferred, or credit card. The proceeds benefit
United Way.
· Silent Auction of Jekyll Island convention center memorabilia presented by Jekyll Island Authority the proceeds from which will be retained by JIA and used towards creating a commemorative display of the Aquarama.
· Do you have your outfit ready?? Make sure that you participate in the “Best Aquarama Outfit Contest” which will take place after the Class of ‘69 Reunion band leaves the stage. Make your way to the dance floor to have your outfit part of the competition! The winner will receive a prize package provided by the Palms Retro located in Atlantic Beach, Florida – North Florida’s Coolest Hotel Featuring Themed Rooms Capturing a Bygone Era. The prize package includes:
o 2 night stay at the Palms Retro
o 2 bottles of wine
o 1 round of golf for 2 at the Sel Va Marina Country Club
o $30 gift certificate at Sun Dog Steak & Seafood
o $20 gift certificate to Joesph’s Pizza
